My first scarf! At this point, I used only one yarn, a beautiful purple one (with hints of turquoise and pink).
Then, the embellishments began. I sewed a curved accent on one side, which sits up high on the chest near the neckline.
It contains metallic foil and layers of translucent canes. Then I added strings of beads to the fringes, including a number
of polymer clay beads with layers of translucency and foil, one matching the style of the curved accent piece.

My second scarf! Now, I'm mixing yarns, a tan one and one with some bling!
Again, the embellishments began. I sewed a set of accents on one side, which sits up high on the chest near the neckline.
Reminds me of Hawaii, flower petals, gold foil, translucent clay, glittery and metallic inclusions, a glass marble, etc.
Another accent on the other side is a colorful spiral. Again I added strings of beads to the fringes, including a number
of beautiful polymer clay beads that pick up the accent piece patterns.

My third scarf is in progress. Beautiful colors and textures (pinks, hot pinks, blues, purples, hint of greens).
Two yarns.

My fourth scarf is in progress. This one is wonderful to touch. Chenille deep red and black and silver fur.
Perfect for winter! The photo doesn't do it justice. Two yarns.
|
My fifth scarf is in progress. This one is colorful and quite furry! This one uses two yarns and lacy ladder "yarn".
|
My sixth scarf is in progress. Another colorful and furry scarf in purple and aqua, it uses two yarns of different textures

My seventh scarf is in progress. This is my favorite....a furry scarf in many colors: green, pink, gold, rust... This one uses both a furry and a bumpy "bling" yarn. I made this one fashionably narrow.
